Al-Alif Perfumes of Mumbai is an artisanal fragrance house specialising in Indian and Arabian perfumery. The company was founded in 2014 by Mr. Firdos Khan and Mr. Saeed Ahmed to continue a family tradition of working with perfumes and fragrances.

Their incense sticks capture the depth and character of natural oudh and musk accords in a beautifully composed and vibrant form. Each 50 g box offers a rich, evocative fragrance that transforms everyday spaces into places of calm and sensory richness.

We currently offer two representative fragrances from Al-Alif, Oudh Mukhallat and Oudh Musk.

Buyers note: I was slightly hesitant when ordering these for stock, I didn’t have any samples to work with and Oud-based sticks can sometimes feel overbearing— the sticks too large and the scent too heavy — so I wasn’t sure what to expect.

I was genuinely surprised. These are a beautifully balanced incense: rich and resonant but not  overbearing. They have depth and presence without filling the room too aggressively. A beautiful example of a Middle Eastern style incense from a company who specialise in this tradition.
