Packaging & Materials

We try to keep our packaging as simple and responsible as possible.

The clear ‘plastic’ envelopes used for some incense are made from Nativia® compostable film (a plant-based material derived from renewable sources such as corn). These are not conventional plastic. Place it in industrial food waste or garden waste collection, which is the best method for composting this material.

All other envelopes are paper or glassine, both of which are recyclable (where facilities exist) and biodegradable.

For shipping, we use cardboard packaging only, along with paper-based packing materials. Everything in your parcel is biodegradable.
