Floral incense inspired by the attar-distilling traditions of Kannauj, India’s historic perfume city.

This collection reflects a family tradition that continues to work with naturally distilled oils from Kannauj, the historic “perfume capital” of India. The region has been known for centuries for its mastery of attar distillation, a craft now preserved by only a small number of dedicated makers.

The twelve fragrances in this collection represent classic styles drawn from that tradition. They are wonderfully expressive yet easy to live with: richly floral, gently sweet, and built around the kind of perfumery accords that have made North Indian incense so beloved. They are the sort of scents one can choose almost at random and be quietly delighted by.

Each sample set contains two sticks of every variety — an enjoyable way to explore the character and breadth of this distinctive range.
